Cookie policy
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. My SaaS uses a few that it cannot work without, and analytics cookies only if you accept them.
Cookies we always use
These keep the site working. They are never used to track you.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Keeps you signed in. | Two weeks, or until you sign out |
| csrftoken | Protects forms against requests forged by other sites. | One year |
| django_language | Remembers the language you picked. | One year |
| analytics_consent | Remembers whether you accepted analytics cookies. | Six months |
Analytics cookies
If you accept them, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell visits apart and measure how pages are used. Nothing from Google loads, and none of these is set, until you do. Advertising features stay switched off.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells one visitor from another, without saying who they are. | Up to two years |
| _ga_* | Keeps track of the current visit. | Up to two years |
Your choice
The light or dark theme you pick is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to sign in without the session cookie.
