Privacy policy

This policy explains what My SaaS collects when you use it, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website and the app behind it.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address, your name and the password you choose, which is stored only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive the basic profile they share.
  • Security records: sign-in times, IP addresses and browser details for your active sessions, and a log of security-relevant changes to your account.
  • Payments: when you buy something, our payment provider (Stripe) processes your card. We never see or store your full card number; we keep what the provider tells us about the purchase.
  • What you create: the content you add while you use the product.
  • Analytics, only if you agree: how pages are used, measured with Google Analytics once you accept analytics cookies.

How we use it

To run your account and the product, keep it secure, take payments, and send the emails you need, such as receipts and security alerts. Product news is sent only if you opt in, and analytics is used only in aggregate, to decide what to improve.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run parts of the product for us: hosting, email delivery, payments (Stripe) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics. They may use the data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your language. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. The cookie policy lists every one.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your data is removed after a short grace period, except records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

Your choices

You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings, choose which emails you receive, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your data; write to us and we will help.
